Ciara's wake was on Friday October 5th from 4pm to 9pm. It was held at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home at 74 Elm Street in Quincy, MA. The funeral services were on Saturday October 6th at 10am. It was held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 44 School Street, Quincy, MA. The funeral service was conducted with full military honors.

Another funeral for Ciara was held in her native Ireland on Saturday, October 13th at Lettermore Church in County Galway at 11am. Immediately after, Ciara was buried with her father at Annaghvane Cemetery.
On June 27th, 2008, at 10:45am, her ashes were interred at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia with full military honors.
